Come see what the Mountains have to offer!

Cool mountain streams flow all around and through Bozeman. In fact, this local area boast numerous blue ribbon trout streams on which you can  raft or float if you prefer to get as wet as the fish. Whether hiking up into the peaks, rafting or skiing down from them, fishing or zip lining among them....there is always something to do. And we didn't even begin to mention the wildlife viewing. Hopefully you are fond of Elk, Bear, Deer, Moose, Eagles, and....well the list is endless.

This isn't quite a home away from home. It's even better!

That's because it is a home with a history extending back to 1897. It started off as the residence of the local brewmaster, Julius Lehrkind, and his huge family. Three generations of Lehrkinds lived into their golden years here. Several other families built memories here. And now you can create your own wonderful memories at the Lehrkind Mansion Bed and Breakfast.  Relax by the fireplace in the winter; stroll around the gardens in the summer; or just take that nap you have been promising yourself for months. The beds are comfy. We won't blame you....but we may be jealous.

Gallatin River Rafting

Gallatin offers you the chance to view incredible scenery and paddle through some fun, challenging, and continuous whitewater.

Museum of the Rockies

Museum of the Rockies is open year-round except for some holiday's.

Outside Bozeman Activities

Palisade Falls Trail (Falls pictured here) is one of numerous, great, easy trails in our local area. During the heat of summer, the falls and dense forest keep hikers, bikers, and runners cool. The trail can get slick during winter but still makes for a great outdoor attraction for those with a pair of cross-country skis or show shoes.

Yellowstone

Yellowstone National Park is a nearly 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho too. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.
