Welcome to

BOZEMAN'S LEHRKIND MANSION

Bed & Breakfast

How we are navigating the COVID-19 Crisis

As always, we utilize disinfectants rated to kill viruses. This is our 25th year of business and we have always gone above and beyond the standard with our cleaning practices and continue to do so - especially in these times. We operate only eight guest rooms. During this COVID-19 crisis we are able to socially distance guests at multiple tables and rooms or socially distance parties at opposite ends of tables if they are taking advantage or our wonderful breakfasts. We are also flexible and willing to serve at multiple seatings if necessary to properly separate parties in order to meet current social distance guidelines. Guests should wear mask when in the presence of others not in their immediate party. Of course, by visiting the Lehrkind Mansion, you voluntarily assume all risk related to exposure to COVID-19.

Special COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY (SUPERSEDES STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY until further notice)

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we are altering our standard cancellation policy. For Reservations made on or after November 01, 2020 for any future date, if you find yourself having to cancel within the standard 14 day cancellation period, we will issue a voucher or credit for the amount of your purchase to be applied toward a future stay with us. You would not be charged a change of date fee in this circumstance. That way you will be able to take advantage of your full deposit for a future stay at the Lehrkind Mansion.

Hiking Trails

We have one of the best hiking trail systems right out our front door - Bozeman's Main Street to the Mountains Trail network, which facilitates walking or biking from Downtown to the mountains north and south of town. And, we are fortunate to have miles and miles of trails in the surrounding national forests, state parks, and of course, Yellowstone National Park.

Thriving Downtown

Bozeman's thriving and attractive Main Street sits along the original Bozeman Trail. Numerous shops, restaurants, and two theaters (the Ellen and the Rialto) make this vibrant downtown a part of the area you will definitely want to check out on your visit. Luckily the Lehrkind Mansion is only a seven block walk (1/2 mile) from all the activity Main Street offers.

Views of the Mountains

Bozeman is situated in a huge mountain valley. This same Gallatin Valley paradise was originally known to Native American tribes as the "Valley of Flowers". From just about anywhere in the valley you can view the Hyalite, Gallatin, Spanish Peaks, Tobacco Root, and Madison Mountain Ranges. If mountains are what you are looking for - we got em!

Yellowstone National Park

Most visitors here are making/taking the opportunity to visit the nation's first national park. We are only a scenic  90 minute drive to either the north entrance of Yellowstone NP at Gardner, Montana or the west entrance of Yellowstone NP in West Yellowstone, Montana. Several day driving loops into the park are possible while still enjoying one of the numerous fine Bozeman restaurants during the evenings.

Below this World

Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park makes for a wonderful day trip to see Montana from the inside. Guided tours make for an enjoyable and educational experience while viewing the caverns. Numerous trails and picnic areas within the park provide additional fun opportunities for the day. On the same day you may wish to visit the nearby Madison Buffalo Jump State Park, one of the few authentic buffalo jumps open to the public and/or Missouri Headwaters State Park for hiking, rafting, birdwatching, or picnic where Lewis & Clark camped in 1805
